Refused-to-work: is leaving Saudi and paying my company is the only option?
My company finally allowed me to sign for a refuse-to-work after my 6 months working. From the HR, they didn't tell me the consequences. And now, they sent me back to the agency. From the agency, they told me that since I refused to work, I have to exit Saudi Arabia and pay my company 16k SR, for they explained further, because I was directly hired by my company from country origin and my agency is just like a middleman. I asked if there would be another option such as if they could just find me another client or if they couldn't find me, I myself will look for another, so that I can pay the said amount. They said, it's totally dead-end, no other options other than paying them and going back to my country. And now, I'm stuck in my agency's accommodation doing nothing and I will be running out of money to buy my own food. Please I need your advice on what I will do... And I want to know my rights. Shukran
