I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your legal assistance regarding a challenging situation I am currently facing concerning an employment ban.

Since January, I have been attempting to resolve a ban that has significantly impacted my ability to work. Despite my efforts, I have encountered numerous obstacles and conflicting instructions from various authorities. Here is a detailed account of the situation:

Initial Attempts and Contact with Former Employer: In January, I began the process of trying to lift the ban. I contacted my former employer, Mr. Sultan, who finally responded during the first week of Ramadan. During our meeting, he agreed to help and provided a letter to Maktab Aleamal.

Runaround Between Maktab Aleamal and Jawazat: When I submitted the letter to Maktab Aleamal, they instructed me to go to Jawazat. However, when I went to Jawazat in Makkah, they informed me that it was an issue for Maktab Aleamal to handle. This led to multiple back-and-forth visits between the two entities without any resolution.

Instructions from Jawazat in Shumaisi: Eventually, Jawazat in Shumaisi instructed me to get a letter from Maktab Aleamal and return with a cheque for 1000 SAR, which I did. Jawazat in Shumaisi then provided me with a letter to take back to Maktab Aleamal, but Maktab Aleamal still refused to process my request.

Complaint to the Emir of Makkah: I filed a complaint with the Emir of Makkah. Following my request, I was advised to go to Maktab Aleamal and ask the general manager to remove the request. The general manager asked me to pay a fee for the cancellation of the final exit, which I paid. However, he then stated that I need a letter from my former employer addressed to Jawazat to cancel the final exit.

Refusal from Former Employer: My former employer is now refusing to provide this necessary letter. Despite my willingness to pay any fees required, I am unable to proceed further without this document.

This situation has placed me in a very difficult position. I live in Makkah, only 10 minutes away from work, and I am eager to resume my duties. However, without resolving this ban, I am at risk of losing my job. I am writing to you in the hope that you can provide legal assistance to navigate this complex issue.

Specifically, I am seeking your advice and representation to:

Clarify the legal steps needed to lift the ban.
Communicate effectively with Maktab Aleamal and Jawazat.
Address the refusal of my former employer to provide the necessary letter.
Explore any other legal avenues or alternative solutions.
I have attached all relevant documents and correspondence for your review. Your expertise and guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know your availability for a consultation and any further information you may require.
