Marital dispute

I, Muskan, a citizen of India, submit the following facts regarding my spouse, Shahad Muhammad, currently residing in Saudi Arabia: Marital History: We were married in 2019 in India. Within 15 days of the marriage, my husband departed for Saudi Arabia. He returned briefly in 2021 for two years before leaving again for employment in Saudi Arabia, where he remains currently. Financial Desertion: Throughout the duration of our marriage, my husband has failed to provide any maintenance or "Nafaqah," leaving me without financial support for several years. Dowry and Extortion: During the marriage, my husband and his family demanded 15 Lakh INR. My family provided 5 Lakh INR in jewelry (confirmed by two eyewitnesses) and funded a wedding ceremony valued at 20 Lakh INR. Threats and Intimidation: When I attempted to contact my husband to seek support, he issued life-threatening warnings, strictly forbidding me from contacting him again and threatening physical harm if I persisted. Current Legal Status in India: Due to the desertion and harassment, I have filed a formal case in the Indian court system. The court has recognized the gravity of the situation and has issued: a Non-Bailable Warrant (NBW) against Shahad Muhammad; a Look Out Circular (LOC) to prevent his entry/exit without legal intervention. Evasion of Law: Despite the recent passing of his mother, my husband refused to return to India, demonstrating a clear intent to evade the judicial process and his marital responsibilities. Objective: I am seeking to initiate legal proceedings within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to hold him accountable for the denial of maintenance (Nafaqah) and criminal intimidation. I request assistance in coordinating with the relevant consular or judicial authorities to ensure the Indian court warrants are honored and that my rights as a spouse are protected under both Indian and Saudi Law.

Leaving teaching job during Probation in Saudi

I have been in Saudi Arabia working for the last month at my school in Riyadh. I submitted my resignation on the 1st of March and have submitted both in person and through email to my hr. I was informed i would need to complete my handover form, which involved handing over my keys to the school apartment which i have done however, the head of Hr has not been to the school in the final two days before holiday to sign off on my form, which has left me in limbo as i now reside in Khobar, awaiting approval of my resignation. I currently do not have an Iqama as I'm still new to the school, having been there only 1 month. However, the school has mentioned I will have to pay fees, leaving as they deem my resignation as an illegitimate reason? I was put in a room with no window or light and was very tiny, which led to me having panic and anxiety attacks as well as struggling to adjust to the school work environment. What is the legal procedure to ensure I can leave as soon as possible without paying penalties? As mentioned previously, i dont currently have an iqama and am on a work visa and using a border number as im still in my 90-day probation period. ? What steps should i follow to ensure i get out as soon as possible?

Violation of Riyadh Rent Freeze Law (Hidden Rent Increase)

I need your legal opinion on a rental dispute in Riyadh. My previous Ejar contract (Contract No. 10465313117) was for 365 days (Feb 1, 2025 – Jan 31, 2026) at 28,000 SAR, paid in 4 equal quarterly installments of 7,000 SAR. The landlord has now offered a renewal starting Feb 1, 2026 but ending Nov 11, 2026 (283 days) at the same total rent of 28,000 SAR, split into 3 unequal installments (8,973 + 8,973 + 10,054). This short contract increases the daily rent by ~29% (from 76.71 SAR/day to 98.94 SAR/day), which I believe violates the September 2025 Riyadh Rent Freeze decree prohibiting rent increases for 5 years. I plan to file a complaint with REGA/Ejar today, timestamping my objection, and then accept the renewal tomorrow under duress to protect my family from eviction. Please review the attached documents (expired contract, renewal offer, payment schedule screenshots) and advise: Is this legally considered a rent increase under Saudi law? Does filing a complaint before acceptance preserve my rights? What

Remove travel banned

To The Honorable Court, I respectfully submit this message to bring your kind attention to an issue I am currently facing. My travel has been unjustly restricted due to a dispute with a car rental company. According to the actual records, the remaining amount I owe the company is SAR 2,364. However, the company is now demanding SAR 17,000+, which is not accurate and not supported by any clear documentation. I believe this is a misunderstanding or a miscalculation, and I am fully willing to settle the correct outstanding amount of SAR 2,364. I kindly request the court's assistance in resolving this matter and lifting the travel ban so I may continue my responsibilities and obligations. I am available to provide all necessary documents and cooperate fully with any further process as required. Thank you for your attention and support.

Expired Iqama, no contract on file from kafeel

Hello, I found out my kafeel did not renew my Iqama for over a year and he didn’t tell me. He abandoned my iqama and did not provide health insurance during my contract as well. I found someone who wants to transfer my sponsorship but I can’t terminate my contract because I don’t have a contract on file with HRSD. How can I renew my iqama and transfer to a new sponsor in the smoothest way possible? What steps do I need to take if I don’t have a contract to terminate and ny kafeel didn’t renew for over a year? Am I free to go to Jawazat directly without repercussion or do I go to HRSD first? I’m trying to make this right.
