I am a staff nurse here in polyclinic resigning my job after 7 years and 4 months in service. I signed the first contract in 2016 and the renewed contract 3 times respectively 2021, then 2022 and most recent was las April 27,2023. I finally decided to end my term because my mother (90 yrs old) requesting me to be with her. She is left alone at home and nobody takes care of her. I gave my notice of resignation last May 21, 2023 and I stated to end my work on September 1, 2023.
I am worried because I suppose to end my work April 27, 2024. Will they not pay my benefits? Or will they ask me to pay the remaining months of my contract inspite working them more than 7 years in service? I am badly needing the money to build a small house for my mother.
Please help me what advice is suitable for me?
