removal of blacklist in Saudi Arabia

My wife has a blacklist in Saudia. She did not go to court or see a judge or get any legal documents. Maybe she was accused of absconding, we don't know. She was deported in 2012 from prison without trial. She was innocent. She then went to UAE and worked for many years until 2022 when she tried to renew her work visa, but was refused. Now we need to remove this blackllist in Saudia. Please help.

Mr Jose Manuel Simon Prestel

Hello all, My name is Jose. My wife and myself's situation is as follows: My employer wants to impose a penalty of two months' salary after my wife and I decided not to move forward with a renewal that we signed just 1 month ago. However, we are fully respecting the current 2024/2025 contract and are not breaking any terms. The renewal is supposed to start on 01/08/2025, and we gave them notice more than three months in advance, as we wanted to give the school enough time to find replacements for us. They are referring to a clause in the renewal that links back to the original contract (2024/2025), which states that a probationary period started on 01/08/2024 and expired after three months. They backdated the new 25/26 contract to as our first date of employment for the 25/26 contract was dated on 1/08/25. They argue that because the probationary period referenced in the renewal is already expired, we are not allowed to leave, and if we do, we must therefore pay a two-month salary penalty. Initially, we believed that the renewal included a new probationary period starting from 01/08/2025, allowing us to resign within the first three months if needed. Additionally, I must mention that the renewed contract and our current contract (24/25) are not registered in Qiwa. We have screenshots as proof that no new contract has been uploaded. We will be leaving in June 2025, although our current contract officially finishes on 31st July 2025. Apart from this, they haven't replied in formal writing to our resignation or they have not sent anything in formal writing regarding the penalties or anything, they just arranged video calls. What do you think about this situation? Also: - What are my rights regarding the absence of a registered renewal in Qiwa? - What are my rights if I don't receive the penalty in formal writing? - Can my employer apply any financial penalty if no official renewed contract or this year's contract exists in the system? This inquiry concerns both me and my wife, who works at the same place and is facing the same situation. Her contracts are also not registered in Qiwa. I hope to hear from you soon, thank you very much.

Employer is not allowing me for local transfer, I need your support in this situation

My name is Abdul Yaseen Abdul Hameed currently working in my company from 22nd May 2023 to till date and am willing to take a local transfer. However, my employer is not allowing me to go and take a local transfer. Instead, he is threatening me that he will file a case and issue a final exit to me. I submitted my official resignation with the local transfer request to my company through the official company email ID on the 5th of September 2024 by mentioning my last working day as the 7th of October 2024. However, I am ready to work till the end of this October. Then they replied to me with these 3 points. 1. They are telling me that I have to notify them in writing through the electronic communication channels in the Qiwa platform only, whereas I have submitted through the company's official email. But My question is - What about an official resignation sent through email? Is it not considered an official resignation with a notice period? 02. They are also saying that the notice period should be 60 days from the submission date on the Qiwa platform. My question is - what about the notice period, which I have already started from the day (5th of September 2024) I submitted my resignation through the official email address to the company? 03. They are also telling me that I have to compensate the remaining period salary to the company till the date of the contract. My concern is that this compensation for resignation is not mentioned in my contract, which is uploaded on Qiwa. As per article 77, unless the contract includes specific compensation for the termination by either party for an invalid reason. My question is - Is this true that have to compensate the company for remaining months' salary? Can you please guide me and help me how to handle this situation? and allow me to take a local transfer, I planned to move today, but they haven't allowed me yet, and a new company is waiting for my local transfer. I'm looking forward to your guidance and help as soon as possible. Best Regards Yaseen

Work Contract Legal Advice

Dear Sir, We are seeking for legal advice. I am a western working in Saudi Arabia (expat). Employer gave a formal letter (hard copy) with higher management signature(director) informing me that contract will last 2 more years with a specific month and date (September 2023 to August 31 2025). Employer stated in the letter that work is extended for additional two more years. However, contract ended after a year and still owes us another more year according to the formal letter given. Problem is the employer did not really let us sign and/or gave us the legit contract with benefits, salary etc included. They let us sign and give notice July 23, 2024 that contract will end August 31, 2024. It is very unprofessional to give a formal letter informing the worker that company will be extended for two more years then after a year they said it is not renewed. Even we asked for a contract to be signed last 2023, but they just gave this formal letter. As a worker, what should be our rights regarding this matter? Thank you for your enlightenment.

Final exist Cancellation - Work supension

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your legal assistance regarding a challenging situation I am currently facing concerning an employment ban. Since January, I have been attempting to resolve a ban that has significantly impacted my ability to work. Despite my efforts, I have encountered numerous obstacles and conflicting instructions from various authorities. Here is a detailed account of the situation: Initial Attempts and Contact with Former Employer: In January, I began the process of trying to lift the ban. I contacted my former employer, Mr. Sultan, who finally responded during the first week of Ramadan. During our meeting, he agreed to help and provided a letter to Maktab Aleamal. Runaround Between Maktab Aleamal and Jawazat: When I submitted the letter to Maktab Aleamal, they instructed me to go to Jawazat. However, when I went to Jawazat in Makkah, they informed me that it was an issue for Maktab Aleamal to handle. This led to multiple back-and-forth visits between the two entities without any resolution. Instructions from Jawazat in Shumaisi: Eventually, Jawazat in Shumaisi instructed me to get a letter from Maktab Aleamal and return with a cheque for 1000 SAR, which I did. Jawazat in Shumaisi then provided me with a letter to take back to Maktab Aleamal, but Maktab Aleamal still refused to process my request. Complaint to the Emir of Makkah: I filed a complaint with the Emir of Makkah. Following my request, I was advised to go to Maktab Aleamal and ask the general manager to remove the request. The general manager asked me to pay a fee for the cancellation of the final exit, which I paid. However, he then stated that I need a letter from my former employer addressed to Jawazat to cancel the final exit. Refusal from Former Employer: My former employer is now refusing to provide this necessary letter. Despite my willingness to pay any fees required, I am unable to proceed further without this document. This situation has placed me in a very difficult position. I live in Makkah, only 10 minutes away from work, and I am eager to resume my duties. However, without resolving this ban, I am at risk of losing my job. I am writing to you in the hope that you can provide legal assistance to navigate this complex issue. Specifically, I am seeking your advice and representation to: Clarify the legal steps needed to lift the ban. Communicate effectively with Maktab Aleamal and Jawazat. Address the refusal of my former employer to provide the necessary letter. Explore any other legal avenues or alternative solutions. I have attached all relevant documents and correspondence for your review. Your expertise and guidance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know your availability for a consultation and any further information you may require.
