I want to resign from my current company but my contract is now renewed according to a clause mentioned in the contract that if I will not inform the company 30 days before the expiration of the contract it will be renewed automatically. But on my second contract it's mentioned that I have 180 days of probation period and I can resign without notifying them. I want to know that I am eligible to use these 180 days to resign or not?

According to Saudi Arabian Labor Law, you may take two avenues to resign from your company:
1. As per Article 81_1: "If a contract is made for a specified period of time, it may not be terminated before the expiry of its term, except in mutually agreed circumstances between both parties".
In your case, since your contract has been renewed according to a clause mentioned within it, you would need to notify the company of your intention to resign as per this clause, unless there is mutual agreement for termination between you and your employer.
2. However, the second avenue could be applicable in your situation. As per Article 56(2) of the labor law, "The worker is entitled to resign from the work without notice if the term period of his work contract is not specified".
The 180-days probationary period clause that you mentioned might allow you to resign without prior notice. Probationary clauses often allow for termination of contract from either side without specific requirements for notice. Nonetheless, please ensure to thoroughly check the terms of this clause in your contract, as not every probationary clause has such a provision.
The law does present solutions in your case, but the actual law and its applicability might differ based on the specifics of your contract. For that reason, it's recommended to consult with your HR department or peruse your contract thoroughly to understand your rights and obligations.
Remember, this is not legal advice and is intended to be general information based on Saudi Arabian Labor laws. It might not encompass the specifics of your situation. Please consult with a legal expert for advice tailored to your circumstances.
